Back in the spring I read through the Gospel of Luke with the purpose of seeing everything that happened in houses. WOW! I was so encouraged and excited! I have experienced some of these things in both my own house and other people’s houses. I would like to take you on a journey through the Gospel of Luke and share
I asked God what He wants to say to those who read my blog (myself included) and dreamt all night about righteousness. The following morning James 2:14-26 was part of the reading for the day (I have been reading through the bible this year). Verse 23 jumped out which confirmed that God has a message for us regarding
Have you ever Googled yourself? Well recently, I did. I googled, “who is Wendy Tolmie?” All kinds of things came up. Things that defined me by my title, achievements, status and reputation. There was even something that came up that rated me. Imagine that! I was rated 3.6/5 by the way.
Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving! (Col 3:2 (NKJV) For years God has put on my heart to pray for the church, often praying the prayers of Paul. More recently I have been compelled to be even more intentional to pray these prayers for the church of Jesus Christ. I have been convicted to pray these

Last week I was reflecting on the past year or so, remembering many examples of God’s protection, preservation, provision, grace, wisdom and healing, just to name a few. As I was doing this I was awestruck with His faithfulness! Great is Your faithfulness came out of my mouth. Since then I have been witnessing continued
Have you read Acts 26 lately? Amazing! We can learn so much from the life of Paul. Reading this chapter where Paul has opportunity to share his testimony again, the circumstances that led up to the opportunity and Paul’s steadfastness and conviction are both encouraging and convicting. Reading this chapter has
